Common questions
Which iPhones are supported?
Requires iOS 17.2 or later and an iPhone that supports simultaneous front-and-rear camera capture. The app checks support using the device's hardware and system capabilities; meeting the minimum iOS version does not guarantee multi-camera support. iPhone 11 has been used for physical-device validation. There is currently no iPad version.
Why does the app ask for these permissions?
Camera provides both views and captures media. Microphone records video sound. Add to Photos saves completed captures. The recent-capture preview uses the app's own files and does not scan your entire photo library. You can change these permissions in iOS Settings.
Where do my photos and videos go?
With Add to Photos permission, completed captures are automatically added to Apple Photos after processing. The bottom-left thumbnail opens your latest capture. After stopping video, allow processing and saving to finish; the local preview can open while Photos saving completes.
What if I can't see my capture in Photos?
Allow processing to finish, then check Add to Photos permission in iOS Settings and available device storage. Reopening the app can resume handling retained files after an interruption. Keep the app and its data until an important capture has saved successfully.
How do I change the floating window?
Drag the window to move it, or pinch inside it to resize. Tap to cycle shapes, or hold to open the full style settings for size, shape, corners and borders. Stop recording before changing border or corner-radius settings.
How do I share a capture?
Tap the bottom-left thumbnail to open your latest capture, then Share at the top right. Choose an app or destination in the system share sheet and confirm the action yourself. Tap the video playback area to show playback controls.
Where are language and theme settings?
Open the top-right gear. Language offers English, Simplified Chinese and Follow system. Theme offers light and dark. Settings also contains the privacy policy, app version and update date. Website languages are separate from the app’s language options.
How can I delete local data?
Delete photo-library copies in Apple Photos. To remove app-local data, use Delete App in iOS Settings; Offload App may retain documents and data. Export anything you still need first. iCloud and shared copies are managed by the respective services.
